Jewellery Care Guide
Daily Care
Wear with Intention: While our pieces are crafted for everyday wear, it's best to put your jewellery on last - after applying makeup, perfume, lotions, and hairspray. These products can leave residue that dulls the shine over time.
Handle with Care: When not wearing your jewellery, store each piece separately in your CHWDRY pouch or lined box to prevent scratching and tangling.
Cleaning Your Jewellery
Regular Maintenance: Gently wipe your jewellery with a soft, lint-free cloth after each wear to remove oils and debris. This simple step helps maintain its natural shine.
Deep Cleaning: For a deeper clean, use lukewarm water with a small amount of mild soap. Gently clean with a soft brush, rinse thoroughly, and pat dry with a soft cloth. Ensure pieces are completely dry before storing.
What to Avoid: Never use harsh chemicals, ultrasonic cleaners, or abrasive materials on your jewellery. These can damage delicate finishes and stones.
Material-Specific Care
Gold-Plated Jewellery: Gold plating requires gentle care. Avoid contact with water and chemicals, and remove before physical activities. With proper care, the plating will maintain its warm glow.
Sterling Silver: Silver naturally tarnishes over time. Store in an airtight container when not in use, and polish occasionally with a silver cloth to restore its shine.
Gemstones: Different stones require different care. Avoid exposing gemstones to extreme temperatures and harsh chemicals. Clean gently with a damp cloth.
